10/10/2011 8:08am It's pretty much in the middle of no-where. Steamboat is a destination resort as the other major resorts are a bit of a drive from it. Great AM trails that are not within the resort boundaries...worth the trip.

Our UCI team has shifted it's focus to DH and Enduro. Our 4x bikes were pit bikes at Windham. This sucks for product development...I have ridden DS specific frames since the 90's. DS has stuck around for festival events, I don't see 4x being added to Crankworx or other festivals. September 15-16: Downhill #7, Hafjell, Norway?...That's cool.

I love the look of this bike...the price is really good considering that you get Frame, Shock (Fox DHX RC4, 9.5″ x 3″), Shifter, Gearbox (Shimano Alfine), Tensioner, Rear Sprocket and Spacer kit, Axle. Now from an industry view...expect to see a lot more direct to consumer bike companies coming to the US.

Awesome coverage guys...thanks Sven and Gary! Mickael Pascal also runs his bike with the rebound all the way out! From Mick, "I had a good run even though there is some parts of the track were I could have done better, but it was so easy to do big mistakes and I’m glad I didn’t crash. These look like one of our old shoes...we are working on a new one. I have spent the past two years riding/living in iXS shoes. They work awesome on my Spike pedals. They are not sticky rubber like my 5.10's.

7/18/2011 11:30am I rode one for a while...good fork for the dough. They are on sale right now from the supplier so it makes sense you got a good deal. I had the 80mm. My only issue was the top cap hit my downtube. Other than that it was stiff and reliable.

6/21/2011 7:17am Next time you are at the WC notice how many racers have their hoses on the outside of their frames for bleeds. This would make it a lot easier for guys to pull off their brakes and allow them some better hose protection. On a SS or DJ bike the hose wouldn't wind up as much...not completely freespinning like a...
