Rider Overview I'm an intermediate-aggressive DH rider coming into my fifth full season. The Makulu has been tested for flavour on 60,000 vertical feet of fast flowy and technical downhill riding in Kelowna, Kamloops and Vernon, British Columbia over 11 days. That amount of riding has been done in a very short space of time, allowing me little opportunity for suspension testing and tuning. That process will be the next step of my life with the Makulu. Fit for Purpose The Makulu is a downhill race bike. If you're looking for a cushy DH sled, this isn't it. It will...

Irode everything on this frame. From single-track, fire roads, the local DH, and different bike park lines. Took this with me on my roadtrip from SoCal, through Sedona singletrack, to Moab, through Crested Butte and Trestle Bike Park. Fun singletrack bike, but too limited at speed.

Overall, a lightweight, functional pedal which have good, solid bearings which don't allow the pedal to spin like crazy and throw your foot off. They have lasted through several muddy riding days. Also, the ease of changing pins is great and super easy even for a beginner.

Fishbach is a podium machine this year. He and Tschugg should be a threat everywhere. Go iXS!

Well, I work for a different company but have to say that La Bomba look pretty dang good. I would eventually ditch those wheels for something better but if you are going to race that looks like a solid package.

Ibuilt this bike up as a do-it-all, running 2 chainrings but also a Boxxer up front, the goal being one bike to pretty much do everything with, from trail riding to DH. The frame replaces the Zuza in the Morewood lineup, although it leans much more towards DH as opposed to the Zuza which was a pure FR frame. Out of the box the frame quality is amazing, with neat welds and stickers now under the clearcoat, it really feels classy. The build was pretty smooth, just the BB needed rethreading on one side. With pretty average components (Boxxer...
