They’re still producing 7 speed cassettes for comparison... I don’t think you’ve got to start worrying as of yet.

I think any full suspension bike with its suspension tuned nicely will do this. I do not doubt the lower unsprung weight effect on the Taniwha. I just think this test can't really show it
They should've filmed at least another bike doing it.

jeff.brines is right, I meant that corners where someone would spray a lot of dirt at one time might be 'punchy', as opposed to a smooth drift or gradual slide that happens on some of the faster tracks that I see on the world cup circuit. It could even be boiled down to shorter or longer radius corners. So the higher the average speed is, the better I feel this tire would do.

Guessing here - but Greg usually keeps his tires "within the traction circle" EG, he doesn't spray a lot of dirt changing direction. He usually carries speed. Lots of speed. But he doesn't break traction while turning too often. ...or maybe I'm totally wrong and Swentz was saying something totally different.

Thanks for good wrap-up. I didn't say that I lost all respect. I just thought of him as a hard working, level headed guy who maybe didn't have as much luck as some others had.

First..its perfectly fine to pass judgment. it was beyond dumb to not just put a back protector on and leave NOTHING to chance. We all know that and antibody e that thinks it wasn't are just not logical humans since there is ZERO logic (the real kind of logic that eliminates all chance of error) in what he did. So yeah, everybody passing judgement on @Mateusz_Gawecki is exaggerating. That being said, him saying he lost "all respect " is overdramatjzed. But I certainly lost respect at the time because it smelled of arrogance. In the end, only Nekos brain walked...

I stopped respecting Neko when he tried to start with cardboard instead of proper back protector and got disqualified
