New rankings are out and Goodman has dropped to 18th. They’ll probably stay in that range after losing Pontvianne for the rest of the season. Rogue stayed at 15th after not scoring points in the last round. I could see Giant catching them as Rogue lost Simon Chapelet for the year and Daprela has a shoulder injury of some sort, didn’t start the worlds final or at Lenzerheide Scott could sneak into the top 15 depending on the YT situation. Can we move on from 1 personality joke from over a year ago. Let's talk about the crappiest part of the entire weekend. Hate it for Pinky to tag the anti-HardLine start pole. I've always been of the opinion the start should have a solid wall on both sides of the rider to prevent any "catching" of equipment/gear/clothing & that nub proves my point. It should be at minimum an aluminum/wood half wall to funnel/graze & not chance a bike/gear/clothing snagging it. I think back to the crap way Shaun Palmer lost SkierCross at the X Games catching a tip...

Question to ebike users, do you use the full range of a 12speed cassette? Are you ever in the 52 tooth? Seems unnecessary, wouldn’t a better spaced stronger drive with less gears be favoured?

Are ebike motors getting smaller? If not would it make sense to have a universal mount standard? Give options for motor swaps. just a thought, might be a dumb one.

When did Ibis decide that it was the right time to be a "yeti" premium-priced bike company? Checking their new XTR and XT builds on Ripmo, 10K or 8.3K is definitely above anything I would consider a good price for Ibis. I would be really curious to know how they are doing.

No doubt Goldstone is a nice kid but he’s far from the average mtb bro. He’s basically a factory product, groomed to a level beyond what we’ve seen in the past (no BK jokes please 😂). I think our expectations as fans and his own expectations are just so high that his first rainbow jersey and WC overall feel like a bit of a formality. What’s more exciting is the fact that he’s got the potential to be an all time record breaker. I’ll be rooting for him in 2040.
