I am really drawn to zero protection ( ! ) and I enjoy the long hotseat sessions (they’re rare) but I have to agree this idea got an audible “i don’t hate it” from me when I heard it. This is the one. 10 speed linkglide for the win. Dirt cheap & super durable. Plus the deore LG mech works with the 11/48 cassette, despite shimano saying 43t max, so a nice short cage, dont even need to use the clutch. The chain is the same as a normal 11 speed, nothing special.Cheap though & change at .5 wear. Personally I dont understand the need for expensive 12 speed electric foolishness on an emtb.

Thanks for the props fellas! Reece Wilson just told us that this track is more difficult than any track all year, even Les Gets in the mud because it’s so unpredictable. Rocks coming out all the time, and shadows look like rocks and rocks look like shadows. But the dirt is apparently absolutely mint.

You can tell when Asa, Tyler, or Oli are coming because every single line spotter pulls out their phone. During this B practice, Asa has been by 4 times and was on a different line every time.

42 year old here. I think the cut away jokes are fun. I enjoy his videos and feel like it's a good niche for all the stuff out there.

I think it’s fine and kind of fun. Not everything needs to be serious. There is plenty of adult sport fan content out there. It’s good there is something for the kids that’s still pretty palatable to me. No worse than a first intermission hockey segment from coatesy or coach.
