Me, Wyn and Brook arrived early before world champs in 08 and only had DH bikes. We borrowed rigid, cantilever brake equipped mtbs from the hotel and spent a day exploring the trails, it was insane haha. That was the last time the hotel let us borrow bikes that week!

I definitely could be wrong, first world level race was world champs there in 2008. That track was definitely fresh then too

this from the Val di Sole bike park website - "The Black Snake celebrated its 20th anniversary in the 2018 season" so 1998 is when the track was opened, not necessarily raced? Did they typo on their site and mean 2008? It sure was fresh for that race.

6/13/2020 1:23am Bosch powertube batteries like your one use a hard lock, you need to unlock the lock with the key when you insert the battery. You can’t just snap it in to place without unlocking

Good read from Phil Gaimon- I saw some video with him discussing the WADA list and how he would type every ingredient in food/supplement/vitamin into the list before using it. Tedious but part of the job. http://www.cyclingnews.com/features/phil-gaimon-what-does-it-mean-to-be… It sounds like this case was a genuine accident (and I truly hope it was).

11/14/2018 4:00pm Having spent a number of years racing at that level and being drug tested all I was saying is that is easy to miss something tiny that can have a huge effect - a positive test. Never said its not their responsibility, even said they need to be diligent.

11/14/2018 1:18pm Its surprising to see everyone jumping to the conclusion that this is blatant cheating going on like these guys have been caught with HGH or something. People can trigger positive tests from things as simple as an asthma inhaler, a supplement they've taken and over the counter medication. James Stewart was banned from motocross because he didn't have paper work...
