8/27/2024 3:19pm Just had a quick look on their site, Countershox make three different sizes, that is probably the smallest one? The other two must be for wayyy heavier moto‘s? Really intrigued to try this especially if it bolts straight to my Dorado, and doesn‘t seem to be needed to adjust depending on weight/bump frequencies.

8/24/2024 1:38pm Why can’t they just leave the 60 riders(now 30) alone and cut the semi? I really disliked how much he said um and in my opinion. Lets hear the facts. how are you growing it?? I want the stats from red bull broadcasts to now! What have you actually achieved. I just don’t understand why cycling has to exponentially grow all the time. Downhill and especially freeride are fringe extreme sports. Bold opinion here. LEAVE IT THAT WAY. There are more than a million of us already. Many are entitled jerks who cruise around in spandex repping brands they paid...

8/23/2024 9:43am An Ebike isn’t just about making the climb easier. At least that’s what I’ve learned about them. It’s more about time management. I don’t have to plan my whole day around a ride on my favorite trail. You can also get to trails that you don’t ride as much because they are easier to access. It’s also interesting to run them in a different direction that wouldn’t be feasible on your regular bike. Did I mention climbing technical trails has a whole new spin to it? I still prefer riding my analog bike to be fair. Ebikes are just another...

8/15/2024 1:49am 100% Agree. Imagine walking into your local bike shop wanting to update your aging mondraker enduro bike. - Hello, I'm looking for a new enduro bike. - Ah yes, take a look at this Foxy. - No, sorry I must not have been clear, I want an enduro bike, like 160mm of travel, not a trail bike. -Foxy it is! Oh well, we call it the superfoxy now and it is 170/160mm. -Oh ok, sorry I didn't keep up with the name changes, but can I still get a Dune? -Of course sir, right this way, 170/165mm hard hitter, beautiful...

8/14/2024 5:40am The constant whinging that tech rumours is getting derailed is kind of annoying and derailing in itself. In my opinion its OK to discuss the tech rumour or current happenings for at least a page or two, and then they generally dissipate or move to other threads. If a legitimate large rumour or release happens it naturally takes over the thread anyway, they're discussing damping and leverage because there isn't a lot happening right now. Plus, Primoz, Teamrobot and Cascade make up some of the best and most knowledge members and are creating a valid discussion. For better or worse...

7/3/2024 1:01pm from jason's vital review which has exactly what you're asking..... "include tighter writing, more of the reviewer's personal voice, way less mealy language of it's claimed it might it may." to not include the marketing claims from a brand in a review seems the wrong way to go. putting down a brand's claim with a reviewer's experience could justify or negate the marketing hype. isn't that the whole point of the review? to see if the brand/bike is full of shit or not?

7/3/2024 12:57pm Because they’re relatively expensive and people want to point out everything negative about it even if it’s only based on personal preference. You are correct, the bike is looking to be a killer all rounder with a few interesting designs features but at the end of the day, they’re going to sell heaps of them because they appeal to the majority of the market. That’s the point and why Specialized is successful.

7/3/2024 12:56pm Im so utterly baffled by the comments on the Stumpy Its not a proprietary shock, its simply only currently available on the Stumpy, give it a hot minute, and I bet you'll see it available.... Its not exclusively running Fox suspension, as there is an Ohlins model available....Which should mean that both coil is acceptable, and pretty much any other shock will work (might require an appropriate tune) Mullet is an option on S3 and up sizing.... simply buy some stick on cable guides and run whatever you want on it. All of you "cry out" for external routing anyway...

5/22/2024 11:08pm Would y'all want to see a 15-minute VitalMTB video with back-to-back testing on a section of brutal rocky chunder with different pedal kickback theories to see if the Ochain really works as advertised?

5/22/2024 1:31pm I have just done some experimenting on my Mondraker Summum (which has like 200% Anti-Squat) with a „freecoaster gear“. Replaced two cogs with some spacers on the cassette so you have a gear where the chain moving around has zero effect on the chainring. I actually noticed a massive difference in my feet and legs, you could really feel how...

5/22/2024 1:26pm Vorsprung has a pretty good video on the pedal kickback in general. Essentially, it isn‘t only the chain „growth“ which is only relevant when the freehub is engaged. But actually the chain flapping around (quite a lot of mass) creates some „pulling“ on the chainring as well, in both directiony. https://youtu.be/grNUgu0H9YA?si=O1BThIcf7w61bBdR

5/6/2024 12:07pm I also saw on an early practice clip from him that extra „tube“ (like a Vorsprung Secus but bigger) on the top right of the stanchion. I think these were mentioned before to be some sort of anti-vibration device found in MX too? Has anybody anymore info on that?

4/29/2024 10:12am Interesting take, you’re probably right. I have been riding a 36T Oval on my Supreme for two years (with and without a lower pulley too) and never thought about that. But also never noticed it in a negative way that the clocking might be off-set (got an oval on my enduro too)

4/19/2024 10:08am There is also a DH Casing MaxxTerra DHR2 since not too long ago in 29 and 27.5 (That E50 Logo is just an allowance to use it on an E-Bike up to 50km/h, thats a legal requirement in Europe)
