It's been raining non-stop since Thursday night. The track is going to be nutty in these conditions. I suspect anyone heading back to Europe for the rest of the World Cup season is going to pass on this race.

Or the fact that he's less out of breath, despite riding one of the gnarliest dh tracks while talking the entire time, than most people are walking to the end of the driveway and back.

I was lucky enough to watch qualifying with Ken at Leogang. I know he’s been wanting to come out for a while and just decided last minute to book a flight to come watch, no sponsor commitments or anything else. Just a fan who wanted to see a race. There were a lot of people who were stoked he was there( myself included)

EDIT...like @Juanargent said, amaury may have missed the pole - amaury went around jump at 25:54 in the replay. here's screenshot from his quali1 POV. not sure how this impacts race day if at all if protest periods have passed.
