No cables, so far less maintenance. No sh*tty cable routing. Less effort on the shifter. More accuracy that remains the same during its lifetime. ... Sorry but I can't find any downside except pricetag.

I also think this years judging was on point, apart from B'dawg all day Jam format, if a rider puts a perfect first run an want.s to call it then fine, if a rider want's to try again and again. As long they haven't beat themselves to shit then great. With weather conditions sometimes being a factor this could be an advantage too. Only problem is, the spectators all around the world would lose the 'Live comp' feeling...... when watching live or an edited high lights show One thing though, with the helmet cam tech we have now.. judges and...

Imagine if helmet cam footage was part of the judging format..... with the event being more of an all day jam than a contest maybe in some years when the tech exists for live helmet cam VR tech beamed into our homes!

White soles, and in particular the stone coloured shoe, won't look "super clean" after a mtb ride. I would be interested in a black version with black soles or a darker coloured version.

Totally. I simply just will not buy a shoe with no stitching.... Unless it's in a cut price sale. The fact that these have D3O in them makes me think they're gonna be around over £100 when (If) they hit the UK. Fingers X'ed for the brand though. We need more alternative brands to take on the big guns.
