So I did some quick detective work. If my fat eyed calculations are correct, this flip chip setting means he's either running a 27.5 rear wheel w/ the frame in the 29er rear wheel setting...or he's running a 29" rear wheel. Flip chip in the opposite orientation would be for 27.5 correct? Darn, can't post the pic of his rear triangle in this thread. Anyway, at 1:39 you can see the flip chip on the rocker set high but now that I think about, that's backwards. He has the rocker extended, therefore raising the BB to keep the 27.5 at...

Yeah, i'd love to get these on a lighter chasing, like a Mary super trail ultrasoft, chasing is plenty stiff, rubber supersoft and gruppy but around 1.1kg.

It’s a bit like the way Schwalbe went in merging the tech (and weight) with the ebike range. The problem I find is they are roughly 200g or rotating weight heavier than tyres we had 5 years ago . On a trail/ enduro bike that is so noticeable if you’re having to pedal anywhere. Guess it’s just the direction the market has gone

Shame that they're so heavy, would love to try them but i dont want 1.3kg on the front, completely useless, would be nice to have other options in terms of chasing
