You forgot to say that the Pivot frame broke in half and that Kerr had a very bad crash because of it, I don't understand why this information was omitted. And I bet everyone is wondering if Kerr is okay but there's no news. Anyway the race was very good track really nice.

One mounting point with the water bottle standard does allow racers to get creative now that we have all these adapters. Having a set of allen keys at the top when you notice a loose stem bolt will save a ride & I don't want stuff in my bar ends or head tube. A single, intelligent placed mount allows DAQ/telemetry hardware mounts for racers to simplify that & your idea for ballast has merit too. Would allow a solid anchor without vibration and you can build a set of ballast that overlap like those multi-function dumbbells they sell in sporting...

It's kind of mind blowing to me if he really does move to Norco, given how he was basically given free reign on the new V10 development (and didn't like the HP proto), plus all the other component changes. For someone as picky as him, that's a massive amount of change.

Yup I agree, I honestly thought that ad was just some banner for wish.com or banggood.....not an actual mtb company. It was pretty hard to tell it had anything to do with bikes? Poor judgement went on here IMO

First of all, I get that a lot of ad folks are probably not mountain bikers. They're using a toolbox based on things that they think has worked in the past, not necessarily what will work best in this community. Second, their job is to sell products. Building a community where new people feel welcome is probably not on their priority list. Third, as mountain bikers, we have collectively shown that stuff like the old Marzocchi posters and calendars (that were on the walls of service departments I managed) was not only acceptable but preferred. I'm saying all of this...

Hey Losifer, couldn't agree more. Was surprised to check Vital this morning and see a wall of female butts in panties facing me. Like you said, if this was an ad selling women's panties to a website with a predominantly female audience, then sure, fair play. But that's clearly not the case here. The last Vital audience survey in 2022 said this audience is 96% male! I don't know how many times I've heard industry people ask how we can get more women into mountain biking and I'm pretty sure the answer is "Not like this." Selling products to dudes...
