New thread each year like the race thread. Pin it to the top section. Jan 1 each year force the start of the new thread and un-pin the old thread. Seems simple. Kinda scratching my head how one thread with 1000 pages is more resources than 10 threads with 100 pages. Content is content and traffic is traffic is it not?

One thing that became almost immediately clear in the relatively short time that I have been reading and participating in bike-related internet forums is that the proportion of posters that are good at math is extremely high. It seems that 1 in 10 is an actual engineer, and the proportion of math-brained folks among the remainder is way higher than the public at large. As such, holding back geometry information strikes me as misguided because one's efforts are destined to be futile unless they also refuse to release pictures of the product. In honor of the 1000th page, we should vote on the best meme of 2025: 👍🏻 for “Crab” 👎🏻 for “6-7” edit: Carcinization is the antithesis of innovation. Maybe we should keep crab talk on the crab talk forum and keep this thread focused on MTB tech rumors and/or innovation.

Good read. I ride for fun now, all rides lead to the pub so regardless I'm having 5 schooners after the ride, any fitness aspects are moot. If I ride my "meat powered" hardtail there is a sense of acheivment, my legs are sore, my ass is sore.
