Chris Blevins, Hayley Batten, Chiara Teocchi and Alex Malacarne to Trinity Racing for 2021 for MTB (though they might be doing road, cx etc as well)

Wonder if Specialized XC Factory team may be done? Langvad retired, haley and blevins gone. They just have a couple guys left I think like Simon Andreasson and no hints or announcements of new signings. Wonder if they are backing away from it a bit.

Loved this interview but as an enduro-newb, i'm a bit confused. I am definitely not trying to start a flame war about e-bikes here but i am looking for some clarity. He talks about not wanting to water down the original hardcore, backcountry nature of Enduro to the point where I would be frankly scared to make the jump from a Revolution enduro to a BME event, which is fine-I'm not a pro racer. But at the same time he lays into people for hating on e-bikes, which would obviously undermine the entire hardcore, endurance nature of the sport that...

Yeah I dont quite understand the e-bike thing. Its just taking enduro and essentially making it easier. So the question is why? Assuming its the same courses, it just makes a significant part, the "endurance", that much easier so what is the point? I don't hate e-bikes but from a racing perspective it just seems odd. Like you said, if people don't want to pedal as much, just make a DH stage race with all uplifts.

I don't quite believe this yet. They literally just came out with a brand new DH bike that they went as far as doing full carbon on. The amount of time and $ that went into that seemingly would be way too much to just go and cancel it 12 months later after a test season with a middle pack...

I run DHF EXO front and DHRII rear in DD. I run CushCore front and rear, more so for the feel on the front than needing the protection.

"Didn't seem to fussed with a performance this weekend but is definitely getting focused on the World Cup".....Oh....maybe he should have been a bit more focused on that result and maybe would have gotten the points needed to race the WC. Oops.

I think part of it is "losing the spirit of enduro as DhDork mentioned. Enduro started as blind racing and everything. They have implemented only 1 practice run per stage to try and preserve that feeling so he probably just feels that walking them just turns it into more stage DH in a way. Keep it free and wild and not everything known ahead of time.

I think it would be great if the Atherton bike line used Welsh mythology to name their bikes. Some of the pronunciation and spelling may need to be Anglicized for easier marketing but I think this branding concept can easily synergize with the other Atherton projects, like Dyfi Bike Park. The Mabinogion - a set of medieval Welsh tales, is a good place to start. But since this DH bike is the first release, the name has to be familiar, sort of mysterious, and very accessible in terms of recall. So I propose to name this DH bike the [b][u]Atherton...

Wait - so do people in this thread get some sort of a cookie or something if they predicted/guessed/reposted anything and it actually happened? Or does it just make you feel like an Internet superstar LOL
