10/16/2024 6:01am So it seems that judging already was questionable back in the original days... (oh and the puns on that video. Priceless)

10/16/2024 6:01am All I got from this is you clarified you weren’t at interbike but never denied getting the clap from a plus size dancer. honestly it’s really easy to critique the past version of yourself. But this didn’t come off near as bad as you made it sound. Entertaining read. Post some more old stuff!

10/4/2024 1:21am No, the lug and tube construction was never meant to be series production model, it was for testing, to finalize proportions.

FoxFactory Liked a comment about Feature Tested: FOX Live Valve NEO Suspension
9/25/2024 12:53am Good question! FLOAT X and DHX Live Valve Neo shocks were designed for the application of Trail and All-Mountain riding, where transitions are extremely quick, and in some cases quite jarring. The overwhelming majority of on-trail efficiency which can be achieved from firm suspension is attributable to the rear shock, and any delay in the Opening of a fork’s compression circuit— even 1/70th of a second—would be noticeable to riders. The insignificant gains in speed efficiency offered by a firm fork are not worth the sacrifice in on-trail performance for the Trail and All-Mountain disciplines.

8/26/2024 5:51am Fox Marketing, “How much is MSRP for the most expensive wireless post? 795? Ok, as $65 to that and send it. Oh, battery, add $20 to the SRAM battery price. Just because. What’s that you say? GoPro batteries are $25. Pfft. Losers don’t know what people will pay.” Like Yeti (the bike and the coolers) people will pay dumb prices for a brand. Don’t get me wrong Yeti makes nice stuff. And so does Fox. But in a market (bikes) that is STRUGGLING its seems a bit strange to just ask for more. Especially when we, as consumers, have ZERO...

8/26/2024 5:46am Both the HSP and the M29 suffered from terrible kinematics. They are hyper progressive resulting in a very soft initial 30% of travel and very firm last 30% of travel. The result is you end up with wallowy midstroke support and harshness deep in the travel disrupting the rider position and requiring a lot of rider input to keep stable. The lack of support in the first half of the travel made cornering very challenging. HSP in particular had a very flat initial leverage curve which meant compression support came on late and delayed rider inputs during corner engagement. Of...

8/12/2024 10:09pm By the time I bought mines, only FR was in stock, I use it on a 150/140 trail/enduro, and locally I need to go through a lot of asphalt until I reach the trails, with mny inclined sections, and they still hold up great since January, best tire combo ever
Plusz in the winter I can just re mount...

4/11/2024 12:42am LC2R reminds me of the Niner CVA platform. Not sure how the kinematics line up on some fancy graphs, but would be interested to see how the WFO compares to the Altitude!

Just a wonderful guy. I'm pretty sure it was 2022 at - I'm guessing here - Leogang, when Danny came 2nd behind Matt Walker and he was interviewed while holding one of their little kids, and Danny said the best part of the whole week was that he had his family with him. Fast forward to Snowshoe: Danny was interviewed and said during the interview that his wife was having a baby and there were some complications. He was clearly distraught, and the interviewer was tone deaf. Danny was in 4th overall at that point (6th race of 8) and...

So I did some quick detective work. If my fat eyed calculations are correct, this flip chip setting means he's either running a 27.5 rear wheel w/ the frame in the 29er rear wheel setting...or he's running a 29" rear wheel. Flip chip in the opposite orientation would be for 27.5 correct? Darn, can't post the pic of his rear triangle in this thread. Anyway, at 1:39 you can see the flip chip on the rocker set high but now that I think about, that's backwards. He has the rocker extended, therefore raising the BB to keep the 27.5 at...
