Go Pyga. Great to see a local to me brand reviewed here!

Once you start getting super slack a whole lot of factors become even more important. Even the wrong front tyre can change the riders perception of what works and what doesn't. I've just steepened my Enduro and reduced the sag to try and get front end grip and cornering confidence back. A different tyre has also helped. My HT which...

Ain't no shop bros - it's my personal build, and I've been abusing it for a year now - the bike deserves the show-off because it's so damn good to ride, that's all. Parts weren't showing earlier but hopefully they are now. @loganskis if you're interested in off the radar stuff then what's being developed here is genuinely good - look up South Industries for high-end carbon rims (handmade in Cape Town by ex-aerospace engineer), C-Sixx do a bunch of different goodies with their CNC machines here in CT, and Lyne Components are designed here but made overseas for a...

My ali stem weighs 130g and cost the equivalent of $20. Lyne components CT South Africa!

I have an a2 and I won a fly from you guys(thanks). The fly was nice but the dial adjustment does slip if you try and tighten it. I liked the fit but the pads were too thin. I ended up keeping my tld a2. Sweat does drop in your eyes and it is hotter but it’s so damn comfy with the thicker pads and it’s held up well with continuous washing. I’d probably buy an A1 to replace it

Not to mention Joe Nation from NZL who was riding a Spesh Enduro and came 18th. I know its not all about the bike by any stretch, but I cant fathom why Keene and Graves insist on riding the Stumpy instead. They even did it before the latest more capable version appeared. Graves claims its about size and suspension feel but I bet they could tweak an Enduro to his liking...

"Chris Ball and his team" are not just one man... no mistaken assumption on my part. This one man and 'his' team have far more experience than you give them credit. And you can have no doubt that when they need to they are able to seek advice from some equally talented and experienced people. Its tough for UK riders to make the step up to world class level too, but we've been blessed by being close to mainland Europe so our riders can gain a lot of superb ride and race experience. But it would be naive of us...

It only weighs as much as my XL all ali Enduro...Seems to me the bike is held back a bit by the very thing that makes it unique - the draggy, heavy gear box. I bet if the box was developed more some of the issues could be resolved.

Assuming you'd use this up front, with a faster rolling tyre on the rear..Would't use the Assegai as a rear tyre.

I am open to liking this track and I do like the look of bits of it, but it's too short IMO.

I was also wondering this but I think the Enduro 650 for instance, is still more bike even than the Evo. It has 20mm more travel and a heavier and possibly stiffer frame. It is also not DH bike slack (although slacker than the standard Stumpy) so is easier on the climbs, something that is essential in an enduro bike.

I have an XL 2018 Enduro 650Band have also battled with a too low front end thanks to very short head tube. The bike ships with a cut steerer and about 20mm or less in spacers under the stem. Spaz dont do higher rise bars so a swap out was not possible and its an expense I'd rather not have to incur. Next gripe - why did it take them so long to produce a decent length dropper post. I'm 188cm tall and stuck with the 125mm version...:-)

This is a bit weird... the Grip damper started out as a cheaper version aimed at lower end forks didn't it? Now its the damper of choice albeit in revised form in the top end model...
