Maybe there is a rideable prototype Orbea that they've done a good job keeping u fer wraps? Testing it, but not racing it yet?

I'm not so convinced. I'm not saying this in the case in this situation, but the bike industry is in shambles. It’s possible that, given the circumstances, this was the best option available to them.

Considering the season ended nearly 3 months ago and assuming they've been working on it since the start of last season and just haven't made a working prototype, I think that's enough time to build a solid bike before hardline or at the very least before the first world cup. Canyon practically made their prototype appear overnight in our eyes when it was first seen at hardline tasmania last year.
