A mashup of footie from April-early July. Shots from Jackson, Sundance, Vernal, Green River, Boise, Ashland...I think that's about it. Cameos of my girlfriend, Courtney, and our wonderdog, Willie. A bit of ski footage too, since it was impossible to escape it completely! Music: "Go Outside" by the Cults and "Whirring" by Joy Formidable. Enjoy

With winter looming in Jackson, I went out to get a downhill lap on the Lithium trail on Teton Pass before any more snow piled up. One awesome evening lap lead to another the next morning...which in turn brought on a few more laps throughout the week. A few hundred bike-hike intervals later with my GoPros and I've got solid documentation of one of the best downhill trails in the US. 6/23/2014 4:20pm haha. after being out on the mountain for over 8 hours for the 3rd day in a row, riding the same stuff the racers did basically w/o a lot of support, the guys needed a break before processing and uploading their goods. well worth it! or we could just blame euro internet connections : )

THANKS VITAL MTB !!!!! So many of the entries were kick ass!!!! Almost every video got me amped up to ride and a number of them I watched over and over. If I had to pick a favorite shot it would have to be Kurt's high speed drift......I watched that scene more times than I can count. I look forward to tearing it up on my new ride and will start working on a follow up vid right away!! Thanks again.

9/26/2013 11:38am and which comments about medium wheels in the slideshow had to do with a santa cruz or enve? SC didn't even run medium wheels in any DH race this year. loic running 650b wheels to 2nd place is worth noting considering there were hundreds of DH starters on 26-inch wheels. if someone did well on a gearbox bike or uranium frame, we'd mention that too. sven editing captions at 3am is not thinking about how he can hype up a wheel size.

gravity pirates, where you there? if so you would have been aware at the complete lack of organization throughout the event and the lack of cell phone and internet service at the venue, etc. photos of results were posted to Vital before any news his USAC website. As of 6 pm last night they had yet to post proper results on site. USAC may have had them for their own updates but they did not share, and there was ZERO regard given to getting this info to the media. There are lots of photos and interviews coming, have some patience...
