Didn't enjoy this format, though I can see it being enjoyable. If they had a longer track, a continuous cable cam overhead shot, and maybe even two runs. As it is, it's 7-10s of riding, very difficult to watch due to four riders being on track for such a short time.

Hello, We can't blame UCI for that, because they asked us to provide them video from Loic BRUNI, and because of traveling and testing a lot currently, we were late and missed to do it. They consider DH as good as the other Cycling sports, don't be afraid...They did the job. We as a Team were not good. Thanks for supporting DH, and sorry for having been slow and not efficient. And YES, we are fuck..g happy to be part of this huge event. It will be a great show, and good moment to celebrate with all the riders...

so the 29 / 27.5 combo seems to be legit. Finn just got 2nd at crankworx rotorua by .09 running it. brook won on 27.5 (so rad...brook looks f'ing focused!) and brannigan 3rd on 29 (i think he's on 29...also freaking rad to see him back in the mix). loic front flatted so we don't know how we would have done. oh, finn wins "sickest foot-out turn of 2019 so far" in his race run too! i'm sure replays will surface at some point.

Hate to be a pedant but...wage means how much you get paid by your employer. It doesn't include endorsements. I know you didn't say average, but you used the word 'decent'. I'd say most of the guys on the World Tour are decent. Peter Sagans current salary is €6million or £5.2million. It would be misleading to say a decent World Cup downhiller earns in excess of a $1million a year when actually you are talking about Aaron Gwin.

there is one important thing to correct here... 3) He duped an entire sport, and the entire Western sporting world. I'm hardly alone in the droves he convinced he was clean. He did not dupe an entire sport.... he duped naive fans.... inside the sport we all knew what lance was doing since 1993 when he won his first world championships... as time went on, and especially when he started winning the tour and his team became dominant, we knew more and more... i dont mean guessing at it... i mean that we hear first hand or second about details...

Face it, these two are getting a pass because of who they are. If it were riders from the EU we'd be laughing it up about those dirty Euros right now.

i think the notion that DH is mainly used for marketing purposes and to drive bike design is not controversial. I also think it is a pity whenever a bike manufacturer stops a dh program because it is not turning a profit. I seriously wonder how they factor in the value of the marketing and design leaps obtained through DH. For instance, try to imagine SC without the Syndicate. Would SC sell as many medium travel and enduro bikes today without that kind of exposure? I sincerely doubt it, though i have absolutely no data in support of that statement...
