I can third everything in this review. Mine fit well length wise, seems to be for thicker fingers. I have this problem with some gloves, others not. I have used these XC skiing in Bend in sub-30's and was warm the whole time. I do wish there was some form of water proofing or coating to the top to prevent the insulation from becoming damp after hitting wet vegetation.

Yes, but most contracts are negotiated or discussed before the season is over, and most racers know where they are going for their next team before they drop in for the final race. YT did the same thing when they signed Zink on. The fact that they spec e13 components on their bike instead of X0 cranks and his chosen wheels shows that they did plan for a build early on and that it's not a true signature "pro" model, but they could have chosen certain parts in anticipation of signing a certain someone to create a signature-esque build.

Hmm, interesting. "Pro" bike comes Fox air squish, Sram stoppers and drivetrain, and Renthal bar and stem. Isn't there a "Pro" rider with a nearly identical and one-off setup?

That's great and all, but I'd like more speed than a traditional 34t, but without sacrificing the ease of a lower gear. I'd like to do my 30-40 mile rides with less fatigue, and possibly push it into the 50mile range. I don't want something easier than what I'm on, I want something with higher top speed without sacrificing the low end. And that's why I ask for not something lower than what I have, but something equal to or greater than.

Why no 34t? If it increases ease of pedaling to a 2t lower gear, but speed of a 2t higher, I'd like to see an equal or higher gear than what I'm running now, a 34t. Maybe even a 36t as I've considered going up when fitted with a wider range cassette. Absolute Black has a 34t...

4/26/2015 11:04pm Having run both hubs, dollar to dollar I say swiss > hope. Swiss 350 hubs on a stand flow ex rim. I personally used wheelsmith's 2.0/1.7/2.0 spoke. A little lighter than the swiss comp, but not revolution thin. Makes for a really inexpensive, light, easily servicable, and pretty strong wheelset.

Well, if it's not the seat tube that drops, hopefully the cockpit will be a tad longer. I found at 5'9" the 23" claimed TT on a medium was too short, if not shorter than claimed. Now on the large, I can't run a full height dropper (120mm) as the ST is too tall, and but the cockpit gives a but more room.
