What rims are those? New model? Currently got the original Mavic SSC Enduro xmax and they suck (light and yellow, but SOFT and weak). Still I am trying to reuse the hub at least and not invest another 600usd in a new wheelset, still cant find a replacement rim anywhere!

I was waiting for this one and i kind of knew, it was gonna go 140/130. Shame really, this hardly makes it worthy of a second bike, 10 mm more and it'd be good as the primary bike. With 130/120 mm it was a no brainer as an addition to an enduro (Meta AM) bike. Also, almost 3000 € and Level TL brakes? While the last one came with Guides? Hm...

Review by Fred Robinson // Photos by Fred Robinson & @luca_cometti_photo (action) Not long ago, looking for an aggressive 27.5 Downhill worthy tire was a chore, but now that the industry has fully committed to the tweener wheel standard for DH, we're starting to see more and more viable options pop up. Enter VEE Tire Co, a company that has been in the industry for over thirty years and strives to offer affordable, yet innovative products in an effort to provide you all out performance while keeping your wallet happy. Review by Courtney Steen // Photos by Courtney Steen and Brandon Turman I don’t know what it is, but I swear my eyeballs are magnets for crap when I am out on a ride. I’ve had bugs, mud, dust, hair, my own fingers, and some close calls with branches. It’s never fun calling a timeout halfway down some rad descent for an eyeball check or to try irrigating out my eye with a water bottle. Talk about a buzz kill. Therefore, I am a rider who pretty much always rides with glasses. Then I also face the age-old problem of...

der_geistmx Added a comment about feature Marzocchi To Close Shop Again?

Tenneco is an american company, and indeed they have been battling bankruptcy for years now. It is not a surprise. Perhaps it is a blessing in disguise for Marzocchi. Marzocchi´s fame and quality went to the ground the year Tenneco bought Marzocchi USA. I seriously doubt Marzocchi Italy will close.

Zoomlinski Liked a product review Tested: Atlas Crank Carbon Neck Brace

9/10/2014 9:55pm
No one wants to spend the rest of their life in a wheelchair. Unfortunately, we are in a sport that puts us in a higher risk bracket for spinal cord and neck injuries. Neck brace research will show you that in lab testing, the benefits of a neck brace are huge - whether you think that lab testing can directly apply to a real crash is for you to form your own opinion on. This doesn't mean we have to quit what we are doing, but thanks to a handful of innovative companies, we can help give ourselves that extra...

der_geistmx Added a comment about product review Crank Carbon

9/10/2014 9:57pm
We+ve been testing these since the 2013 model, and although we liked them in general, we have serious concerns about both the emergency release systems in the normal "Crank" and Carbon version. They are hard to manipulate, and cant think of an injured rider being handled by emergency personnel "trying" to get the brace out without moving the injured person, just not possible. Aside from that and (the ERS systems) we find the company to be uncommunicative and unprofessional towards customer support. But the brace itself has potential. Though mostly for the communication part we are switching our team to...

I thought your continuous bets on Bryceland were risky because I expected his results to be inconsistent. Oh how wrong I was. Brosnan was one I had total faith in at the beginning of the year and he totally delivered. Glad you guys showed the same faith.

If Greg three peats, that would be massive. And the boxer goes home with no one.
