Both meaningful and meaningless at the same time, Official Timed Practice at World Championships replaces seeding, but does not determine the starting order for finals. Starting order for finals is determined according to a rider's UCI points, and with no points up for grabs in this timed session either, it is more a dress rehearsal than anything else. Many riders will not go full tilt in their timed run, preferring to keep the others in the dark until Sunday, while some will use it as a barometer of sorts, to at least have some idea of how they stack up. Be that as it may, the scoresheets are in, and Sunday can't come soon enough.

Notes: Emmeline Ragot crashed and hurt her hand - our reports suggest it's broken. We're sorry for you Em, heal up quick! Nick Beer had a DSQ in his run, we don't know why at this point, but he should still be able to race on Sunday. Sik Mik and Gwin were clearly on cruiser runs.
