Nice to see the bike suspension pioneer, Paul, still dialing things in for us. This reminds me of the polished gold MAG 21 SL from the glory days. Looks like two Reverb seatposts (keyway system) clamped in a crown, I wanna see what DVO rolls out in the near future...

No it's not a simple solution, there is a reason these races don't have USAC sanctioning. For them there is no reason too, USAC does not give them any benefit, it's a business decision. It's not by chance most of the new big events, that are bigger than most of the USAC events don't deal with them. Also, this is nothing but weakly camouflaged extortion. Interesting enough, unless something has radically changed in the past couples weeks USAC is the ONLY major cycling fed enforcing the rule.

Sooooo stupid. Stoked I spent $150 to get that retarded little license this year, just because some of the local races are now USA Cycling sanctioned. But all the real races (D'Ville, Oregon Enduros, Cally Enduros, etc, etc) have nothing to do w/ USA Cycling for good reason. I really really hope I get fined. I will mail the biggest box full of burrito and IPA fueled shiat to Colorado Springs they have ever seen! And I am sure they have seen many boxes of shiat.

Interesting. Not sure about the US (I'll take earlier comments at face value which indicate a similar situation), and putting aside the merits or otherwise of competing under the local and world governing body, but this would be illegal under Australian law as it would constitute a restraint of trade for the competitors concerned. This has been tested in a similar situation in a motor sport environment many moons ago. Free advice to the UCI/Cycling Australia - I wouldn't try that in Oz.

AWESOME! This was probably filmed before '92 as those Treks are older, I bet these guys got the DS2 Fork shortly after! These guys are great riders, stoppies with cantilevers! Uphill, Downhill, Urban, Trials on the same bike! Brings back memories...

I may not be on a UCI team, but I've broken that rule many times, and I know many others, including Sam Hill and Sabrina Jonnier, that have been @ unsanctioned events that I was. Noone ever 'suspended' me, or them. Some of the best events in the U.S. are unsanctioned, this is BULLSHIT!
