Hi! Nice ride! What product did you use for the cable hole plugs when you went to AXS? They look great. The ones I have aren't so nice. 😋

The port plugs are from a couple of Kona frames I accumulated. Kona would include at least one with each frame to cover the hole for internal dropper post cable / hose routing, if not in use.

FOX mount hardware part numbers: 803-03-311 Upper 803-03-338 Lower You may or may not already have the pin mount hardware with your frame, depending on the model. If needed, Trek part numbers: 599898 Upper 599899 Lower

Now that I have additional rides on this setup, with more pedaling involved, I can say that the Flight Attendant makes this platform very efficient while being fully active when needed. I had a feel going into it that I'd be selling my bike with similar geo/travel (Kona Process X) once this one arrived. What I didn't expect is that I'd be likely to grab the Slash over the Fuel EX for even just a basic trail ride. Bottom line: this will replace two bikes in my line up. Excellent value then, eh? HA! No contact on mine so it shouldn’t be an issue on your L. The cage is a WTC Morse (Ti, not that it matters). The position of the cage on the frame mounts is highly adjustable so I was able to find the perfect spot for clearance around the shock, as well as the toptube.

With this setup, the chainline is Boost (52mm). It now features a non-Boost chainring (6mm offset) on the stock SRAM Wide spindle crank. With the stock Boost chainring (3mm offset) it creates an almost SuperBoost chainline, even though the rear end is just 148mm. I don’t like the additional wear this generates on the outside face of the chainring teeth so I made the change. The ring is closer to the chainstay now (obviously) but in 30t there is enough clearance. A larger and/or oval ring likely would not work as it’d make contact.
