Of course an acoustic bike won't keep up with an e-bike on flatter terrain, nobody said the opposite. Well, lucky, you, i've heard a lot of stories about chains wearing out in like 2 months, a cassette a season, etc. Wasn't comparing it to a motorcycle, that's why I said if I wanted one, I'd do it proper, not by buying a half-way-there thing that I still have to pedal and that weighs 50 % more and is 50 % more expensive than the bike I have. Picked up a set today down in Golden thanks to seeing this post last week and then slicing my finger on a branch this weekend. Stoked to get out in the morning with them on the bike. Super easy install and the quality seems top notch.

It makes me slightly more concerned when I'm sitting in bed thinking about life, but on the trails I don't think i've pulled back or been more cautious. What it has done is made me hold onto parts that I would prob have otherwise tried to unload for cash.

Gorgeous! I'd shave some weight and only run CushCore rear, I'd imagine it would pedal better and be more "enduro" than "freeride". I wonder what the weight is w/o CushCore at all? Nice build!

Love it! That color, I can only imagine in person. Are you in the Golden area? Will keep a look out around the usual front range spots. Want a Reeb.
