@loganskis, he doesn't have a 10-50, its 11-50. @teethandnails, he built a custom set of wheels and blingd the bike out to 11 except (no pun intended) the drivetrain. The only reason I made the initial comment is bc I just sold a 2018 Following MB with Di2 and people goffed at the fact that it didn't have a 12 speed. I sell and buy a lot of bikes compared to the average person so it was something that I thought was odd for a (imo) a new build. Nothing seems to be older parts on this bike except the...

Come ride Laguna with me and let's see how long you last. Anytime friends. Most people that ride Laguna on regular basis runs 28 front if they have 11 speed. I rode 11 speed for many years and now that I'm 53, I enjoy the technology and friendliness of 12 speed. I can also climb better and have faster downhill speed with 12 speed as I run a 32 front. Bring it anytime! Also 2x10 has plenty of range, but who the hell wants a bike with 2x10 these days? Always think about resale value as I buy a new...

I just think it's not a good choice to build a new bike with almost obsolete parts in this day when you can get an entire drivetrain (Shimano XT 12 SPD) for $330. Then you can run 32 or 34 tooth front ring and have 11-50 cassette.

I just upgraded to 12 speed on my new bike. It's almost 2020 and he buys all new parts on a refinished bike with outdated drivetrain including a new set of wheels....That's a little weird to me.

This bike pedals surprisingly well and doesn't bobble with the head tube as you think it would. So much fun on the downs too!! I'm absolutely loving it! Changed out the fork to a Fox 36 as I was too light for the MRP Coil.

Less we forget GT had 34.9mm posts in 2013 on the 2014 Sensor and Force. That size never really took flight. Surprised evil and specialized decided to do it at all.

@rubber_ducky and @shawn_trudell. Thanks for the clarification guys. I got a little ahead of myself. However, they still missed the GT's and Cannondales that were making that size tube a long time ago.

KS has been making dedicated 34.9 seat posts for over 3 years and and spec'd on Cannondales and GT's for at least that long with 34.9 seat tubes. You should really do your research before posting nonsense about innovations and new standards. Evil Bikes have also had 34.9 seat tubes since the inception of the Wreckoning.
