After having gone back and forth a few times now between the Intend and PUSH forks, I feel the ability to tune the flex (torsional and fore/aft) is a big benefit of the inverted design. Historically this has been a weak point, with the single crown Shiver being slightly terrifying at times with the ability of the front wheel to wander aimlessly in rock gardens. This is no longer the case (at least with the Intend and PUSH forks), with the amount of flex being beneficial. Similar to what Reece is talking about in regards to the Dorado here: It...

Have you listened to the Vital podcast Darren did on the 9.1 a while ago? A lot of this does get discussed in there to hear it from the source. MIght thoughts on these, "compliance" this can mean a lot of things but in theory can be tuned in either form factor Bushing performance - definitely some benefits in USD because the bushings are closer to the ground which shortens the lever bending force on them, which gets shorter as teh fork compresses, even without dynamic bushings. Lubrication - just tipping the bike up doesn't 100% cure this issue in...

Looks like the more prominent shape/indent is a second cap bolt but just to the right of it is the logo:

Totally support this - it sucks when people who have been given privileged information choose to leak it just so they can feel cool - We all complain when dealers aren't properly informed on launch day, but info getting out in advance can be really damaging in certain situations. So when it gets leaked it just makes it harder the next time, around since the brand has to tighten up what that put out. And what do people gain by knowing about a thing a few days early? nothing......

i added to my post above with more clarification, FYI. IMO it doesn't come down to shimano (or any brand launching a product) being the problem in this case. they have a launch coming up (they said, june 5). they have to get their product and info in the right places before the launch. it's a kook or two at these places (OE, shops, brands, media, who knows) who are posting things they don't have a right to post. if shimano asks vital to remove stuff but not other outlets, it must mean our viewers are actually important 🤣

Long time lurker in the forums, thought I'd finally chime in since I own an Edge. Riding background: 43yo ex middle-to-back of the pack pro. I don't take nearly the chances I used to (career and kids to think about) but I still like to ride fast and push myself. I ran a Fox 38 Factory before I purchased the Intend. I liked the support the Fox offered, but could never quite dial it in to get the sensitivity I was looking for. With the 38, I always started experiencing serious arm pump, leading me to cut riding days short...
