At a demo day last fall, I took an Enduro 29 (s-works model)on the familiar trails of western CO I was amazed at how well it handled the chunky desert terrain. Afterridingthe enduro 29er for about a year, I decided to swap it out for the newer, slightly smaller wheel-sized iteration of the bike in the middle of summer last year. In fact fast is a bit of an understatement, If you've ridden wagon wheels before you're acutely aware of their propensity for gathering speed, but the likelihood is that as soon as you encountered the need to change direction, quickly or otherwise, the frame that held them began to feel real big. if shimano would buy the mtb division would be awesome, being the Japaneses that they are and with they-er approach to they-er brand (and pro at least ) would make some good suspension at good prices

Even if Tenneco crashes & burns, & this actually affects the MTB division(which isn't likely, from what's been said elsewhere) there's too much value in the brand for someone else to not pick it up(not to mention other assets like existing designs, inventory, etc.) Hey, people have been saying for years that Shimano needs to at least be a majority shareholder in a suspension manufacturer, in order to combat the OEM deals SRAM works with manufacturers due to Rock Shox, maybe they'll take an interest.

I hope they survive. they're making great stuff again. just won a wrld cup and a podium in mens and poised for podium/wins. durable product, competitive weight now, easily tunable, eats trail, and you don't have to repeatedly service
