Great colours! Is that a 2.8" tyre in the back? How does it fit? Asking because Nicolai tech sheet says 60 mm width / 710 mm diameter is maximum. Oh and which frame size is it?

Yes they are. They allow the line to make tighter turn as it normally exits straight trom the front of the shifter.

Sideshow: Here's a shot of another bike of mine, which uses the same configuration. I added some heat shrink on top of the Pinion barrel adjuster - noodle interface to keep any water from seeping in but that's not necessary if you don't live in an area where there's rain on one day and freezing temperatures on the other https://www.dropbox.com/s/qypk4ohqzynol6v/IMG_1642.JPG?dl=0
