Trek commissioned did a study a number of years ago and it found for high end (4000 USD and above) mountain bikes, SC blew everybody out of the water in terms of sales - including Trek and Specialized. That study kind of made its way around the inside of the industry and speculatively is why a number of companies shifted to copy SC in a number of ways. Anyway, the point is SC, being the king of high end MTB sales, sells so many bikes to absolute schmuck riders who'd struggle ride out of wet paper...

that’s because enduro mtb are some of the least critical reviews out there and industry bootlickers. „It looks so clean, sick!“ way too much focused on being hip and bros and pushing the newest shit on people compared to other media outlets.

I don’t really plan on owning an e-bike soon. But if I did it’d be something in this category. Adventure rides in places that may not suit my pedal enduro bike and a cheap 2nd wheel set away from a fun commuter bike. I get for most people the e-bike is for smashing their normal trails in way less time (or more runs). But it’s not really what I would want one for.

Unfortunately, no. Those closest I’ve come is my 5 year old Royal pants. Their gear is custom tailored, so you could have your current favorite gear tailored. It’s not worth the cost to most people, but that’s the solution.
