I appreciate the hope you all have for frameworks but I think a lot of you are holding it up to be the next syndicate-esque mega team or something. This is literally a passion project that Neko started very recently. He’s accomplished a lot but let’s not start assuming every big name is headed there.

if intense factory racing isn't intense factory racing because intense isn't a sponsor, that means intense factory racing is shutdown/dissolved/whatever you want to call it. even if there is a team w/ the same management/players, it won't be called intense factory racing therefore intense factory racing ceases to exist, right?

Batts Added a comment about press release MONSTER ENERGY PRO DOWNHILL SERIES ANNOUNCED FOR 2024

I think people are missing this line: “Our plan is to create a more geographically balanced national series over the next few years. U.S. is geographically huge, never going to please every area. Also, the logistics going into something like this has to be insane. Venues and promoters have to agree to the contract and a lot of times it appears "one sided" but if the program works then it is not. Also, dates have to line up which can be a nightmare as well. I have to think these dates were pretty much set months ago. Knowing Clay he...

I think the team points should be your top 2 men, top women, top junior (men or women). And you should be required to have them start in order to qualify. If there are going to be less teams then then they should be slightly larger. 10 is a little too much, that might be taken from the original road...

Look man, I love the bulldog, but he has been on record shit talking the GT bike as a piece of shit that no one could possibly win on and went back to Mondraker. Then in interviews, Mondraker was the bike that now, no one could be competitive on. I really hope he finds something he gels with, because damn is he fun to watch ride a bike. I'mma go watch Gamble now

I have said it before, been watching/following DH for well over 25 years. I have no idea where his career will go with wins and championships, but he is by far the most gifted rider I have ever seen. The kid is something special and just fun to watch ride a bike. Nico was like a calculated surgeon, Sam Hill...

He also would have won if he hadn't flatted in either Andorra or Snowshoe, strongest rider this year by far imo.

One question I have, is how much do regular MTBs bought for 5-8k get sold for, especially these days? Over the last 15 years I have bought about 10 bikes ranging in value from 1.4k to 2.8k, some of which simply died, most of which I sold for roughly 50% of the original price (usually with quite a few new parts one them for the sale). That is why I took my time and got good value ebikes for under 5k each, to reduce the losses when comes time to sell them. Maybe more expensive models hold their value better...

I ride an ebike purely for the joy of power, accessibility and downhill prowess. I don’t have an interest or need in riding one that feels lightweight like a my Amish bikes. Those bikes are for different days on the trails. The extra weight, slacker geo and power on my Turbo Levo make the bike more exciting. I just did a 42 mile ride with almost 6k feet in elevation and ripped the downhills. It’s great that there are options out there for everyone to choose. I choose the ebike as a toy and/or recovery tool so I say go...

I can't answer that poll. I never buy anything with the resale a consideration, it is what it is. I get an item out of need or want and then let the chips fall where they may. Side note, anyone want a medium size Intense tazer expert with about 900 miles on it over a 3 year period, was ridden...

For me it is all about the range. I can go out on 2+ hour rides on my regular bike and have a lot of fun. I have an Intense Tazer with the 500w battery, I was lucky to ride it for 1.5 hours, sure I was covering more ground in a shorter amount of time, but I wanted more...

RAAANGE! Having spent the last 3 years riding with a 500Wh battery on the bike and another one in my backpack, moving to a 800Wh system has been the bomb! I do giant Alpine rides in under 3 hours, and have a second battery if my body can handle a bit more once I get back to the car. Also, once you go 100% ebike (I have a full time desk job and a baby... put your torches away!), I would personally say weight is a very small concern, and handling can be compensated with the right tune and components...

Exactly!!! I am considering one. Both my regular bike and ebike use the same size, not on accident, so $499 is closer to making it worth while. I can just switch the post and lever back and forth between bikes so it is like a $250 post! (selling point to the wife, gotta twist it in my favor) - you can only ride one bike at a time! (again anything to support paying $500 for a seat post)
