It’s actually a brass tip and they will break off the plug if it hits your rim when you get another flat. Only seen one put a hole in the tape. Been using dynaplugs since 2016 best plugs on the market!

Henro definitely flies under the radar, like Evan said, he was an OG on the Syndicate but legend has it, he preferred D-Ville over globetrotting. He is still mind-numbingly fast and a force on the bike. Also one of the nicest, most humble people you'll come across. I think we need to get him on the Inside Line!

I'm having the vaguest of memories right now. And I used to be on SunRace flow and lived in Santa Cruz and rode Downieville. Age, I don't like it. No Sir. Perhaps it's for the best though. He could havre made it big and retired in Tahoe. Instead he's a major force in trail building in that beautiful area. Perhaps worse for him and better for the world. Or perhaps he's right where he wants to be. Thanks be to him either way.

one of the best trail organization in the states. Greg and his crew are some of the nicest guys you will meet. If you have never spent time in this part of the sierra's, I highly recommend it.

Many people haven’t heard of him. He was on the old Sun Race Santa Cruz team then the first year of the syndicate. Steve Peat replaced him. He also beat Mark Weir at the Downieville Classic when he was 15 and was riding a full on DH bike. He is a legend up here I looked up to him as a kid. Now one of my friends. Have worked and ridden with him a lot over the years. Couple shots of me in that video actually

been there done that just wearing a xc jersey riding downieville. went otb on to my back with co 2's and a multitool in the pockets..my back is screwed up from that stuff getting rammed into my spine.. pretty much water bottle and food is the only thing ill put in a jersey pocket now...

I think you're missing the point! This is their "new" "Freeride" trail. Man made features. I'd rather rail a wooden berm than a blown out brake bumped to shit berm. If you want natural terrain hit Booners like you mentioned or take a trip over to Vista. Don't hate, appreciate. We should be applauding their efforts. Keep MTB Parks alive!
