Way more interesting is the cheaper version at $1200. Plus jenson has a 20% coupon right now so while another $1500 wheelset is not super eventful a quality $1000 carbon wheelset is a different animal.

Just like companies claim effective seat tube angles are the same thing as actual seat tube angles. The tilt is cool. But their logic vs DH bikes does not follow. My DH saddle is tilted because it has very different body positioning even compared to my long travel enduro bike. My enduro bike has a 150mm dropper, and I still have huge issues with it. I seldom hit the rear though, it's usually the nose or the center- and lengtheing the reach to put the rider in a more forward position is going to exacerbate this issue. So it's a...

I'm not sure what the big deal is. Maybe you guys are putting on downhill tires. The first tire was a pain but since I got the hang of it I've easily installed several maxxis exo tires and recently installed a specialized grid tire with only my hands. The trick is to get as much of the tire on until it gets tight. Then stop. Now get 100% of the already mounted bead pushed in to the center of the tire. This takes a little practice but becomes easy. Same here and two helmets that fit me well are the A1 and POC trabec. Bell helmets I've tried don't fit me.

I can see for most people it would be a good choice. But I tried it and hated it. I did not like whenever I'd sit for a short section with the post down the seat was sloped back. I'd have to change my riding style to make it work.

I recently rode the new Specialized Command Post WU and must say that it's the next post I am going to get. Like everyone on here, I too was skeptical and thought it a gimmick--until I rode it. None of these posts does what it does, and if you find yourself often in sketchy, steep-ass trails, you'll appreciate that it gets out of your way when it's dropped. Definitely a game-changer.
