I've measured my friend's dhx2 '19, my own sdlx coil '20 and brand new Bomber CR. I did a few test runs of bomber. My very first run and the last one was on the same settings, and what caught my attention was damping forces drop of 400 Newtons at 0,5 m/s. It was mostly comparing different oils to see how much affect they had but overall the changes were pretty minor. I've found on the trail that shocks heat up pretty rapidly to around 20*c (even bouncing around the carpark will warm it up alot) and then starts to taper off and typically reach an equilibrium between 30 and 40 degrees. I think Dave mentioned at some point it's not that big of an issue? FWIW, the old Vivid had a plastic rebound needle to compensate for the temperature differences (warming up would close off the rebound needle port due to expansion), don't think it's a feature on any other shocks though.
