Sick Build. How do you like the bike, as pinkbike was very critical of it in their field test, and I would like to hear about it from someone who rides it a bit more often, as some of these wild bikes can take a bit of getting used to. Mainly looking to hear how it jumps. Can it get sideways?

I love it so far!

Is an amazing descender, just wants to eat. Haven't ridden it a ton or at any resorts yet but so far I feel faster on it then I do on my 'big bike'. Which is an older (2016) Nicolai Ion 20 or whatever it's called. Could be the high pivot, could be the duel 29'ers I'm running or could just be my mind. Will have a better idea once I get a little more time on it.

Climbing it's not bad, can be a bit lethargic as the PB article mentioned. But as of right now, it climbs better then I can so iv'e got no real complaints. It's a big, 7" travel bike. My climbing exceptions for something of that nature aren't that high and so far it's superseded them.

From what iv'e ridden so far, it'll jump. Not the most nimble in the air, nor the most poppy. But you can certainly get it to move, just needs a bit more effort. Again small sample size so I'll know more shortly. The one thing that's been super impressive is how silent it is with the Lal Drivetrain.

Would be interesting to see if anyone could manufacture a more nimble and poppy long travel enduro bike (yes they exist and it’s not an oxymoron!) with the Super drive… or if the high pivot requirement limits it to plow sleds.

But you want a high pivot if you want to plow to everything like I do... and if just want a poppy long travel/trailish long travel bike, then there's a looott of them, just not high pivot.

I've made up my mind my next enduro frame wont have a derailleur. It'll be gearbox and belt for ultimate silence or something like this. I like to pop but I love to plow more. This sled sounds like so much fun. Is it silent even in the rough?

Hey can I ask how the Lal Supre Drive has held up? Has it needed much maintenance or any repairs?

Hey no, no issues so far! It's been great, some minor derailleur adjustments here and there which is to be expected. I guess the one question I'll need to ask Cedric about is stretch on the cable for the damping rod inside the frame. But no issues on my end!

That’s good to hear! Hoping he keep things going with that drivetrain on his new bike.

this Nucleon is definitely the one I want though! Bummed they don’t make it with this set up anymore.

Yeah it really is a shame, the bike performs awesome and in my opinion looks it, the non- Lal Nucleon doesn't have the same pazzazz imo! Not the best climber, and I'll be taking a look at Lal new Katana and consider one of those to go along with this one of these days
