I don’t go to that site often, but when I saw this thread discussing it I went over there and never had any issues with it opening.
You can open it right now? Seems like there is some weirdness going on with their registrar then. Here is what you get when you look up the domain in icann:
Name: PINKBIKE.COM
Registry Domain ID: 18882149_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Domain Status:
clientHold
clientTransferProhibited
If you update your hosts file to the below, you can access.
If you dont know what a host file is, then I suggest not doing anything until it comes back online.
198.90.5.100 www.pinkbike.com
Weird I can get it in firefox but not chrome... Ping gives me unknown host.
Shows up for me still, but I’m using Safari on my iPad…
can‘t access it on my mac or iphone, but did work in the morning for me.
like some already stated, weird that they don‘t do a PSA on FB or IG.
Where am I going to make dick pound jokes now? WHERE AM I GOING TO MAKE DICK POUND JOKES NOW!!!!! tehe.
It hasn't been down for me at all. Using Chrome...
Pinkbike is having a very unusual problem with it's domain registrar. None of us have seen this problem before. Depending on your ISP and their DNS caching the site may still work for some users. Or maybe the US gov shadow banned PB cause Levy went to deep into the UFO hole!
How are you going to use your final two wishes?
I used to have a long time crush on Gillian Anderson...and you have ruined that for me. Thanks a lot.
this isn't PB/outside, but similar biz/industry topic

More related to the skinny tires and spandex side of cycling, but looks like Cycling Tips is on the deathbed.
Forum and comment section got shut down, and the recent articles aren’t really up to date.
There’s an article that says they’re moving CT to a different platform, but with the apparent member exodus I doubt a new site is going to be more successful.
just another reminder that Robin Thurston is a little shitstain that shouldn’t be welcome in any bicycle community, CT went down the drain FAST after the outside buyout.
It's a shame...
CT was quite good when I first discovered it a few years ago, and Robin has done a number on it. Fortunately, some of the ex employees are looking to launch a new platform. Wondering what will come of the ex-Beta peeps. Tho Travis lives on via re-cycled articles on PB.
