Do you have to drive a lot to get to your local trails? I have one really short trail I can ride to from home, but the good stuff is between 30mins and an hour away by car for me.
How far do you drive (if at all) for your regular rides?

Every weekend usually involves a 6+ hour drive to get to the primo BC tracks. Fridays suck, and Mondays are the worst... but Saturday is pure bliss.
10-30 mins for local trail rides.
1.5 hr to Trestle
1.5 hr to Keystone
4.5 hr to Angel Fire
4.5 hr to Fruita
5 hr to Moab
11 hr to Bootleg Canyon
3 hr flight +3 hr drive to Whistler
Can drive 15-30 minutes to other local trails including Windrock
Can drive 2 hrs to Pisgah
double that timed drive and probably double the zone count. now only if it wasn't winter 6months of the year
For trail, 30-min to the okay stuff, 45 to an hour for the goods.
I need to move.
If I'm too lazy the closest trail is about 400m from my house, but it's only about a minute long.
I grew up 10 minutes from the Finger Lakes Trail in Letchworth State Park, NY... that was pretty awesome, now it's 75 minutes away.
When I lived in Austin, TX, I was a 2 minute bike ride from the Green Belt, with tons of other riding being within 1 hour. Not so much DH down there, though, which I missed.
So all in all, I've averaged probably about a half hour for all my life's riding.
