GUYS/GIRLS listen, if you hit the Dirt site and leave a reply to the request Dirt have been in touch with Cane Creek over this and have said that if they had 100 hits they would produce it-- iknow its well over a hundred but the more interest in it the better - CC alreday have this product in proto so for the sake of a post it could become a reality!!! opens up so many doors to us that were thinking some frames are getting on a bit and could transform some old trail sluggers..do mtb a favour and assist Dirt in getting this done. thanks

YES! I think that every frame could benefit from such adjustments. Everybody has their unique style and interpretation of feel on each bike, so why not be able to tune your geo?

Yes, in that it's a great idea for those with older frames.
No, in that manufacturers shouldn't look upon it as an excuse to continue making frames with non-reinforced 1-1/8" head tubes.
I understand from reading Dave Turner's explanation regarding Turner's recent switch to a larger diameter HT that it costs money to make the transition. But still, moving away from 1-1/8" HT's is probably one of the better changes to mountain bikes (as a whole) we've seen in a long time. And having said that, we should do everything to continue pushing for that change.

yup...sure would!!!...so....forgive my ignorance....I have a frame with a tapered headtube and have a fork with a tapered steerer....does cane creek make one that'll work for that???

Hell yes! Why wasn't it the first angleset they made? Newer bikes with fancy new headtubes generally already have slacker head angles. It's exactly the older frames with 1 1/8" head tubes that needed one in the first place.

I was surprised to see how many people were interested in the product. Currently the product is not cheap as the demand is not high and this is a taylor made product.
However, if even half the people who showed interest would order one, that would change the picture completely!
