And lets be honest, she won world champs on luck when every top rider crashed out and the UCI screwed up Myriam Nicole's timing.
I believe people have then tendency to forget that some of the World Cup people who are not on upper shelf contracts still have full time jobs in the off-season, in order to afford all that racing that we all love. Anyone remember how Tracey Hannah worked two years in a mine in Australia so she can pay back all the money she spent in one pretty successful (but not financially backed enough) season???

Look for an interview with Miranda and you will learn how she works full time in a bike shop. Before being on the big Specialized team I have often seen her at SRAM helping out and always working on her own bike. As a fan, you need to respect that. I am sure she will have some sort of support no matter what she chooses to do and I wish her all the damn best!

The World Cup is not all glitz and glamour, like some believe it is. For some it is a lot of work, a lot of sacrifice, a lot of frustration. And for a lot of people it means returning to regular jobs in the off-season. Even selling those team bikes they end up with speaks volumes about how well you can or can not make a living out of racing mountain bikes. To all the rather unheralded racers out there who put in all the work, so they can show up one more season: I tip my hat to you; RESPECT!

Perhaps it's "Aaronic" for them, like the possible Gwin to Intense, to go to a smaller brand? Though I'd still like to hear Marin. Which I suppose could be considered a smaller brand.

So two things learned from the TFR DH team: Charlie Harrison and Aaron Gwin finally meet up!





AG2 grips on those bikes so Gwin must be on the team!
The team is all doing that dumb jib thing that Harrison is incently posting about! He must have training the whole team!

If you check comments from that article, in between there is a comment from someone related to the brand who says there are total 4 people running banshee bikes, this would mean Atherton WC team is bigger than the whole Banshee bikes Smile

FWIW, the guy in the photo looks long and thin enough to be Flo Payet (linked with Scott). He's from the Reunion Island, so I can imagine most places would be pretty cold by comparison at this time of year.
