This just in from Curtis Keene's Instagram storyboard:

Looks meaty! Will be interesting to learn about the jagged knob design if/when Specialized officially releases it.

Looks like it's the new butcher, it's already available it most specialized shops. We ran them last week in Vegas and St. George and they were amazing. Tons of grip, rolls well, way tougher than a Maxxis EXO and weighs right around the same. Definitely recommended.

I thought the same, looked a bit unstable due to the thickness, but I expect thats where the staggered pattern comes in.

looks like it's mounted backwards based on the leading edge of the center blocks and the angle of the side knobs when comparing to the butcher.

This tire was also explicitly shown and mentioned in the old Pinkbike link from last year. It's definitely the Hillbilly and for some reason Keene has it mounted backwards of its original intended direction (maybe he knows something we don't).

Or maybe they are doin a take on the Schwalbe!

Either way, coil and real tires, I am liking where Curtis is going with this, moar Enduro, could be a game changer season for the big guy!

Wouldn't the new Butcher be a lot slower rolling than the old version and slower than a DHF?
