No more cheap versions?? Does anyone remember when they had a Capra for $2300... seems like now the consumer direct brands are more established and moving to a much more expensive price model like Santa Cruz or the Dentist priced Specialized. I’m on the Polygon Train great deals for great builds!!!

I know Trek is one of the largest bike brands in the world. But can I just say, as someone who has been mountain biking since 1995, I have never once been "wow'd" by a single Trek design. They are like the vanilla ice cream of the bike world. And my lack of excitement for them always gets increased with all the proprietary crap.

So to me that bike looks more of a „short travel“ enduro then a trailbike. Am I completeley wrong with that? When I look especially at the geometry of the 29“ version, I see a rather agressive race bike. The size large has pretty much the same numbers as the Specialized enduro and 150mm rear suspension has proven to be able to win the nastiest of EWS races. Really interested on this bike as an allmountain weapon for the alps. Definitely a fan of the geometry. Waiting for a long term review.
