If you're 220 pounds and you're folding tires, just take the weight penalty and ride the proper tires. Bike weight is not as important as the industry tells you, and you'll get used to the extra weight if you choose to not dwell on it during your rides. I'd recommend at least DD tires front and rear, with inserts added if you're denting rims or still rolling your rear tire. 3/22/2019 11:24am I’ve really enjoyed the recent crop of longer travel 29ers. My only issue is that at 5’10 but with a VERY short inseam (<30”), i buzz the tire on steeps quite easily (which also occasionally happens at seams on big rock slabs for me, as well). I’d like to see theability to run a 27.5 rear if possible.

There's a lot of mis-information in the comments here. 1) Specialized DOES NOT pay shops to build any bike. 2) Yes, higher end Specialized bikes are coming as what they call "Shop Built" meaning it's a frame and a kit and about a 3 hour build for a mountain bike built well. 3) It is not 'zero risk' to the retailer. If the customer orders the wrong bike or simply decides they don't want it, the shop gets paid $75 to send it back. That's $75 to build, set-up with customer, manage the return, and re-box the bike. Since when is Specialized shipping a complete high end bike as a frameset + separate gruppo? This was never the case when I worked in a Specialized shop... it was always the opposite- S-Works builds were as complete as possible.

I removed the knob for the LSC adjustment. Aside from that, it fits. I attempted to fit the coil...it, uhhhhh....doesn't fit.

it does but id be really surprised if it was, the equilink is used to comment the upper and lower half of the rear triangle to increase pedalling effiecncy. something a 29er Dh rig shouldn't care about
