Yes. The old course used to go straight then right, but that area is flooded and saturated with water beyond repair. The new track has to go left.

All the dates are bad for scheduling, seems to me like this choice was about as good as any. If it was earlier in the year on an open weekend, would big teams and support rather criss cross the country multiple times for St. Anne, Windham, Crankworks, Idaho (for xc), back to Beech and then back to Interbike later? It may not be better than earlier, but its not that much worse either. All we should really care about is the courses. Can I put in a request for a smooth, flat 4X and very safe DH with nothing to...

That's what Christmas time is all about. Where's the spirit of the Marzocchi tramps? Those unfortunate girls hanging around Tony Ellsworth at Outdoor Demo? The Azonic prostitutes? Can I add a 'Like' to FCTRY's comment, or is that crap reserved for people who like Facebook? I too say eff it to the wrong tool for the job. On a positive note, at least it wasn't a sunset session, slo-mo jump or some idiot asking which flat pedal is the lightest.

Might as well make that the National Championships DH event since no other venue has been named and XC is pretty much decided. We could get our Nat. Champs out of the way early in the year, and get on with the drinking, gambling, and strippers. If anyone else has any other suggestions for venues, let it out, because USAC will forget the DH event as soon as they can. They might have forgotten already.
