I see your point. It's a definite evolution of an old standard that came to be in an era of non-standardized designs and suspension setups. I can't help myself but to think that, at the moment, it's a clear benefit for SRAM, they obviously did their homework regarding the actual tech that could be changed and improved in a shock, but what about the other suspension manufacturers? I had some discussions yesterday with people working these other manufacturers and they said it's logical and coherent evolution, but can't see a definite change on the actual product they put out there...

That list of downsides reads like a drug disclaimer warning on a tv ad. It's also quite literally a list of contradictions to many of the claimed benefits listed above it. But that was a good read BT. Thanks for taking the time!

2/19/2016 11:48pm It's definitely nice to be able to ride a trail without having to look over your shoulder all the time, but sadly these trails in San Diego aren't very 8 inch travel friendly. Hopefully the hundreds of dh riders in sd can get their needs met. I see a lot of rocks on black mountain that are just waiting for...
