Homemade Enduro Bike (Steel Scott Voltage Freeride) 8
Parts
General Info
This bike is my own Interpretation of the Scott Voltage. The build is based around the 2017 Scott Voltage freeride rear triangle. I completely changed the fronttriangle.
Headangle is at 61 degrees
Seatangle is at 84 degrees
Reach is about 465mm
I also changed the rear mounting Position of the shock and reduced the shock eye to eye length to 200mm, which gives me about 150 mm of rear travel. I also reduced the front travel from 180mm to 150mm.
I also added an Idler wheel to get rid of the pedal kickback. Almost feels like a chainless Bike now.
The seatangle is a Bit steeper than the one one the grim Donut, which makes for a centered position while climbing.
The Bike can also be changed to a longer rear shock and Up to 180mm Up Front. Headangle Changes to 57 degrees. Well within grim Donut range.
Not as extreme as my First build, but by No means your average Enduro rig.
And big thanks to the guys from Bikes Base Hannover for hooking me up with the sickest and strongest spokes ever.
If you have any questions, just ask.
