We chatted about including all those forks, but had to draw the line somewhere when it came to # of forks in the test. I think that the Edge, Bright Racing, and Nine.One are all unique and boutique enough to deserve their own review. Or comparison between them all would be really interesting.

I guess I am going to be that guy but the $550 (for now) Manitou Mezzer Pro is better than my Zeb or factory 36 ever was

I purchased a bike park rental 2013 Glory 2 with brand new Maxxis DH tire set for $1800.00. It is in great condition. With used bikes of this caliber available on the after market, what would motivate me to pour money into a 12 pound (L) modified single pivot frame? Realistically, a Boxxer RC is just under $1000.00 MSRP.

It's basically a mountain bike to begin with... mostly 26" wheels it looked like, MTB bars and forks on the bikes... just fixed DJ rigs with tall seat tubes. All that aside, some real bike handling skill there.

I run full 1.5 on my 2005 Prophet. According to my calculations it's 32.6% stiffer than any 1 1/4 tapered steerer and that bike is almost 7 years old now. Just another marketing ploy, plain and simple. Cramming standards down consumer's throats sucks. Might as well skip the intermediate step and go full 1.5. At least then anyone could run what ever fork they wanted and it's angle set ready.
