1/7/2021 2:19am Fantastic effort - great to see some numbers put to simple parameter changes so we don’t have to rely on the stuff that the marketing and media churn out. The one thing that surprised me was how big the loss of torsional stiffness is with the USD! I guess it depends where you ride but I found twisting forks a real confidence killer when loading the bike up in big berms (based on a 2007 Freeride bike with 32mm single crowns) so this just killed USD for me! I can see in more natural rooty/rocky trails a bit of flex...

) - this would widen the Crown and make it more flexy but might also improve the torsional stiffness. This could be just the ticket for USD forks...
