Why? It s a flippy-floppy link (I think, depending on how far the bottom link rotates) that is very short. Very much along the lines of what Yeti did originally and regarding the flippy-floppiness (if it is actually present of course) is kinda similar to what some DW-Link bikes and Ghost bikes do these days.

Not sure what you mean by flippy-floppy, but this is a high, single pivot with a rocker pivoting on an eccentric, thus the shock rate curve is something other than flatish (probably progressive). On this bike, the axle path, anti-squat and anti-rise are all related to the single pivot location at the idler. Yeti Switch technology utilizes a sliding single pivot to vary anti-squat and the DWs I think you are talking about (Ibis Ripley) rely on 2 links (functionally a very short Horst Link) with the upper link on the Ripley riding on an eccentric to further tune its instant center/virtual pivot point. I'm not sure I've ever seen an eccentric rocker pivot. Not really familiar with the Ghost, but from looking at the Riot, it appears to be a rear triangle riding on two mini links rotating in clockwise direction (from the driveside view), which is what a DW is. I don't see an eccentric.

Flippy-floppy as in it changes direction of rotation mid travel. Just like "what Yeti did originally" and the Ibis bikes.

As for single pivot, no, this bike is not a single pivot. The upper 'link' is an eccentric pivot along the lines of the original Yeti Switch suspension platform and the 1st gen ibis Ripley:

You can check out Myotragus on Instagram, they have a NDS picture without the nut covering the large axle where you can see the swingarm is mounted on a bearing and the big axle has a big stonking bearing between it and the frame too. So eccentric pivot (effectively a short link).
If the lower rocker rotates far enough where the line through the main and swingarm pivots through it crosses through the mid point of the upper 'link', then the upper link will start rotating int he other direction. I am not entirely sure this happens, but it is possible it does. I think it does given the stroke of the shock.

As for Ghost and Ibis, it's not about having an eccentric pivot, it's about the flippy floppiness. The links in some DW-Link/Ibis and Ghost Riot series bikes co-rotate (clockwise looking at them from the drive side) in the beginning part of the travel then the lower link stops and starts counter rotating at the end of the travel. Just like the eccentric pivot/link with the original Switch suspension platform did.

Could you please attach here some screens from Myotragus IG gallery? I am mostly interested in the lower pivot area (over the gearbox). This is the 1st bike since STRUCTURE.bike that I have been studying for quite a lot of time as there are many very interesting details. Thank you for help :-)

Thank you. Now it's clear that lower main pivot is eccentric as well. I thought so but wanted to be sure. I'd love to see kinematics graphs of this thing, one mighty interesting frame!

That looks like a pretty cool bike.

I see no chain tensioner but the idler isn't concentric so does the movement in the "upper link" (weird hollow axle) compensates the chain growth/shrink ?

Or is chain length variation minimum and a chain enough forgiving compared to a belt ?

Edit : Wait no, the chain tensionner is visible in plain sight... I confused it with the gearbox mount, but the box is horizontal.
