I’m still riding my 7 year old emtb because as you say it is an offence to us that rubbish bikes have enormous price tags and are flawed. A flawed bike that has continual failures means you don’t get to ride and your bike’s value is the only good parts left on it.

12/30/2025 10:08pm It’s going to need at least 2mm of preload to stay tight and not spin on the shock. Ask Jono at Suspension Lab. He’s on here and he’s awesome.

Awesome bike. I have one as well. Like your bike my one needs a better rider. That’s the only limitation.

Amfow is making a bike that the vast majority of cyclists want as the bike suits the vast majority of trails people really ride.

I have a Giant Trance E+1. It’s 7 years old now. I got it new. Yamaha PWX2 motor 500wh battery. I had the motor rebuilt 2 years ago. Only as a future precaution. 1 main bearing was a little rough and we replaced fibre drive cog as a precaution. Panasonic battery is 92% health. I have NOT replaced the bike...

Please share as a lot of lines are blurred over a long period of time for YT. For me personally it’s leaving the DH team stranded for the whole world to see who you really are.

I am keeping my 7 year old Trance E+1. It has lots of upgrades but still has 92% battery health and goes just like new. I like the Yamaha motor whirring sound because you can hear the motor working and change gears accordingly. I would not ride a new ebike any faster but I WAS IN the Specialized shop today and the new Levo looks so delicious.

11/26/2025 6:41pm I use a sundial to time my downhill runs. That means I don’t care how long each run takes and as long as I’m in one piece I don’t care about the time.

People have been doing this since mtb started. I’m not putting these awesome guys down by saying this. The difference here is publicity and getting people new to mtb dragged along to events by their friends. This will hopefully lead to more people trying riding.

Publicly killing your own brand in front of the whole world wide audience at WC says you are BS. If that was a different story for the riders and public I would say there was hope.
