People have been doing this since mtb started. I’m not putting these awesome guys down by saying this. The difference here is publicity and getting people new to mtb dragged along to events by their friends. This will hopefully lead to more people trying riding.

Publicly killing your own brand in front of the whole world wide audience at WC says you are BS. If that was a different story for the riders and public I would say there was hope.

11/11/2025 9:52pm Thank you Jason for giving us these real world experiences of e-bikes. It helps us to understand how they are changing over the years. Mine is a 2019 Giant Trance E+1. As a big boy I struggle to get 30km mountain biking. Have done 55km on easy trails. 500 WH and Yamaha pwx2 motor.

I have ordered 2 b-rage custom seats. One to put on the DH bike and one to decorate the mantle piece. I expect my riding to come up to this crazy level with the seat voodoo.

I’m in New Zealand and own a Wilson 29. To me Devinci has that special something and I assume in the northern hemisphere there are Devinci bikes everywhere.
