2/24/2026 11:02am Flickable is another BS term used only by mtb dorks. Another term is poppy. No other sport that uses suspension would even have that in their vocabulary. Suspension is supposed to keep you glued to the ground for speed and poppy will kill you.

2/22/2026 3:22pm The weirdest shock I have seen is the propriety pull shock in a Cannondale. Can’t remember if it was a Jekyll or not. Had a 140 lefty which I nearly fell for. If it was a little cheaper I would have bought it. Had a bike with a 100mm lefty and it was SO good.

I have a black and silver Wilson. Love it and it gets lots of attention as people don’t see them very often. I have never seen this blue one before. Easy to spot in a crowd.

I got a 1U new dropper 2 months ago. Took a while to used to it. It’s my first 1U product. Gave Fox the boot. Fox is now a golden decoration on the wall.

I’m 35 years into mtb as well. I own all wheel sizes but don’t have a mullet. My favourite is the 27.5 x 2.6. That bike is 7 years old now and gets ridden the most.
